Biography

Justin F. Shaw, RFC founded Advanced Financial Concepts in 1998 and has been providing long-term financial and retirement planning for a large client base. An industry leader in financial and retirement planning, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Houston. Justin went on to develop
strategies that increase wealth for his clients and sets them up for financial comfort in the retirement years.
With a unique and personalized approach, Justin works closely with clients to develop wealth strategies that meet their needs and set them up for success. He knows there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution, and tailors his proven strategies to each client’s needs and goals. It’s not about personal success, but about sharing his success. Justin is a leader, and a committed community member before anything else.
As the president of Advanced Financial Concepts, Justin sets himself apart as leader. He earned his designation as a Certified Funds Specialist from the Institute of Finance and Business, as well as becoming a member of the National Ethics Association. He is ranked in the top 2% of financial professionals in the city of Houston, and has been awarded numerous honors, including those for client satisfaction. In 2010 and 2011, he was featured in Texas Monthly Magazine for his success in the financial services industry.
Focused on growth, Justin took his knowledge and has developed a reputation as a public speaker – reaching a larger audience with his message of financial empowerment. In 2003, he founded the Houston Center for Financial Education, with the goal of introducing his revolutionary wealth management strategies to the community. Conducting these workshops over the years have helped Justin develop a unique ability to understand and analyze his client’s situations and needs.
He has reached millions through his two radio shows, The Financial Road Map on 1070 AM KNTH and The Financial Truth with Justin Shaw on Business 1110 AM KETK. On the radio, his goal is to dispel some of the rampant and incorrect myths around financial planning and personal wealth. By interacting with the public through broadcasting, he reaches more people with his message of financial freedom.
