Biography

Gary Duvall, CRPC® helps his clients try to create, grow and protect their personal and family financial independence. Before graduating from Rogue River High School, Gary had already become an avid student of success philosophy. He turned this passion into a lifetime avocation of learning how to enjoy health,
wealth and wisdom, and recently coined the phrase “Transcendental Transmutation” to describe the process of accomplishment. Living most of his life in the Rogue Valley, Gary has served as a Student Manager, VISA Division Manager, Purchasing Agent, Merchandise Manager, Operations Manager, and Sales Manager for various businesses. He reentered the Financial Services profession in 1992, and for over 15 years has served the members of Rogue Credit Union as a trusted Financial Advisor through CUSO Financial Services, L.P.*
Gary is fond of saying, “Money is meant to bring value to your life, not the other way around.” The decisions people make should be based on sound logic, and beneficial to their core beliefs and values. Gary has a reputation for making sometimes complex topics, easily understood, and is known for ‘not talking over your head.’ Gary helps his clients manage their investment portfolios containing mutual funds, annuities and other investment and insurance products.
He is now entering his 30th year of marriage to his wife, Carol, who also graduated from high school locally. They both remain close to their daughter Calley, who turned 27 this year and is employed in the medical field here in the Rogue River Valley. Perhaps because Gary and Carol were born in the greater Los Angeles area and arrived in Oregon with their parents as teenagers, they both love the creeks, streams and rivers that flow through the mountains and valleys of Southern Oregon. The nearby Pacific Ocean coastal area and mountain lakes are favorite vacation spots. They have fountains that run throughout the summer in their back yard. Their three cats and one dog like to drink from those fountains when they are not chasing each other. Even their golf balls seem to find the water on every course. There are others who evidently like the water more, because when Gary goes fishing the fish end up staying in the lake after he leaves.
Gary is a graduate of Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC)® designation from the College for Financial Planning®. Gary is a Qualifying and Life member of the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, with 13 consecutive qualifying years.** He is a Past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Rogue Valley.
