Biography

Mr. Davis has well over 25 years of progressive experience in marketing and finance including working with private and non-profit organizations as well as fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Davis began his business career in marketing with Bristol-Myers in Washington, DC in the early 80’s. He later worked with Mobil Oil Corporation in US Resale Marketing within the Administration and Budget Center in Fairfax, VA. Mr. Davis further developed his financial expertise working in Budget and reimbursement at Howard University Hospital, while obtaining his MBA. Mr. Davis was a partner with Anderson, Philips, Davis, and Hoffmann operating in Washington DC, NYC and Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Davis has served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Diversity Officer for Financial Dimensions, Inc. and was honored in 2005 as the Nation’s Diversity Champion by the Mortgage Bankers Association for his Regional Diversity Initiative monetizing the impact inclusiveness and emerging markets. He worked more recently as Senior VP with AllDocs, Inc. outsourcing financial functions for banking clients.

Mr. Davis is well regarded as a facilitator and trainer having worked with numerous organizations in various industries providing specialized training to maximize profits through human resource productivity, asset management, pricing, and expense control. He has provided board leadership and oversight, with Resilience Advocacy Project in New York, NY to end inter-generational poverty as well as hands-on functional training with Youthbuild Pittsburgh. He is widely recognized as an advisor and business leader. He has conducted inter-cultural workshops and leadership training forums for clients in numerous industry segments including the public and private sectors and major Universities. He has written several articles including: “Understanding the Communication Environment” “The true costs of miscommunication” “Effective strategies for business growth,” “Financial management for cash flow and profits,” and “Embracing Workplace Diversity and Eliminating Employment Discrimination.”

Mr. Davis has appeared on various Television and radio programs throughout his career. He was a recent guest on MIT University radio WMBR discussing business leadership and the importance of communication in executing marketing strategies. His interdisciplinary perspective has been reinforced by long experience, academic preparation, and extensive inter-cultural travel on business and humanitarian projects throughout the world.
