Biography

Dr. Jin Kyu (Suh) Robertson is an international inspirational speaker and bestselling author, and shares the secrets of her American Dream life.
Born and raised in Korea, Jin worked as a laborer at a wig factory, a waitress, and a housemaid. At 22, she immigrated to America alone with $100 in her pocket to become a housemaid and practically no English. At 28, Jin, the mother of an 8-month-old baby-girl, joined the U.S. Army as a private. Through determination, imagination and sheer will, she retired as a U.S. Army major, received her MA (at 43) and her PhD (at 57) – both from Harvard.
This single mother raised her daughter who was selected as a Presidential Scholar (an honor given to only 141 of 2.5 million high school graduating seniors), who graduated from Harvard (BA) and Princeton (MA), and served in the U.S. Army up to the rank of major.
Korea’s major TV network created a documentary series of her American Dream story, which has inspired and motivated millions of Koreans, a number of which were saved who were on the verge of suicide.
Jin is Korea’s most popular inspirational/motivational speaker (she has made over 2,200 speeches in Korean, English or Japanese), and is a multiple Best-Selling author of the books chronicling her amazing story that has sold more than a half million copies.
Discover for yourself why every one of Jin’s audiences rises to their feet in a rousing standing ovation. You’ll understand why Jack Canfield, Harvey Mackay, Pulitzer-Prize winner Ron Powers (Mark Twain) and many others have all recommended Jin’s work.
Congratulations! X 400. You took my breath away… I couldn’t put the book down. I salute and applaud your incredible determination. May your year be overflowing with more blessings than you can even imagine. P.S. Only in America!”
