Dr. Reggie Chandra is an entrepreneur, husband, dad, and friend whose purpose in life is to love, to be loved and to create. He lives his purpose. He expresses his love for his family by creating magic moments for them. His love for the community is expressed through his inventions, time, and resources that he
spends supporting charitable organizations and mentoring younger entrepreneurs.
In 2007, Reggie invented In|Sync, a device that synchronizes traffic signals and reduces automobile crashes by 30%. His company, Rhythm Engineering, owns 95% of the US market in this technology and has been listed in the Inc. 5000 for three years. Inc. Magazine listed it as the 64th fastest-growing company in the US and Deloitte Fast 500 listed Rhythm Engineering as the 43rd fastest-growing company. Rhythm Engineering holds four patents and continues to invent new and disruptive products that revolutionize the industry. Rhythm Engineering solutions operate in over 2,000 intersections in 31 states and positively impact over 4,000,000 motorists daily.
Dr. Chandra has invented other products/solutions and has founded six other companies besides Rhythm Engineering. He has also developed a solution to run those companies without physically spending time “in” them. He is always working “on” his businesses rather than “in” them. A self-proclaimed dreamer, Reggie leads by communicating a vision, developing a plan, and stepping back to allow his team to go to work on making the dream a reality.

Dr. Chandra is a true visionary and believes in a team environment where each employee, as a unique, remarkable and indispensible person, has the ability to contribute brilliant ideas, passion, and feedback. In everything he does, Dr. Chandra seeks to challenge the norm, think outside the proverbial box, and identify new solutions that create value and success.
As a result of his talents, Reggie was recognized as one of the United States most inspirational CEOs by Esquire Magazine in 2012. Sir Richard Branson, after meeting with Reggie declared that: “You should be awarded a Nobel Prize.” Governors, entrepreneurial groups, and engineering organizations have also recognized Reggie for his contribution to society.
Reggie lives in Loch Lloyd, Missouri, with his wife of over 27 years, Jenny, a board- certified physician, and their two daughters, Joan and Jubilee. Joan is a final-year
medical student and Jubilee is a high school student. He continues to support the community and the advancement of new technologies to make life simpler, easier and safer.
