Dr. Pawen Dhokal

Biography

Dr. Pawen Dhokal is the owner and the primary treating physician of ELITE Health, which is a Chiropractic and Prehabilitation Sports Medicine practice in downtown San Diego. His clients have included players in the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball and U.S. Olympic athletes.
E.L.I.T.E. is an acronym for Every Life Is Treated Equally – five words that represent Dr. Dhokal’s vision and belief that each person is entitled to the same high quality medical treatment despite age, status, profession, or physical talent and strength.
Dr. Dhokal also co-founded California Medical College. This college is a medical training school in California that specializes in getting students into the medical field sooner and better prepared.
He got his start in teaching at California College San Diego. Where he taught over 30 different college courses in his time there and was named “Instructor of the Year.” He became the Dean of the Medical and Health Care Administration Programs at CCSD before he left to start California Medical College.
Knowing that helping others was one of his passions, Dr. Dhokal began teaching Exam Certification Seminars with Excel Medical and Image Radiology. These seminars outlined information that helped to increase test scores in state exams. At “TheTestDr. com”, Dr. Dhokal has published medical and radiological information as a free online source for students.
Dr. Dhokal also worked as the team trainer for the SDJA High School football team. The next season he was promoted to be their quarterback coach, and then promoted as their offensive coordinator. In 2009, Dr. Pawen Dhokal became the head football coach for the varsity team and stepped away from coaching to pursue other interests after his 5th season in which the team played in the league championship game.
In 2012, Dr. Dhokal co-founded Sani-Screen Wipes, which are custom screen cleaning wipes for mobile electronic devices. These wipes are designed to clean screens streak- free and help control the spread of germs on cell phones and tablets.
Though Dr. Dhokal is very active in the community and has the pulse of education due to his involvement in teaching medical seminars and through his college, his passion remains healing others and turning people on to the power of chiropractic.
Dr. Dhokal graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and received his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College Chiropractic- West. In his spare time, Dr. Dhokal enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, reading, traveling, and learning more about health, wellness, and personal development.
